We often need support to help us achieve our goals. I’m sure the goal of all the dogs who entered the RSPCA Million Paws Walk was to complete the circuit.
This support came in variety of forms of transport.
Travelling in a group os often the best way to go
The beautiful black swans on the lake are always worth a look - is that a good excuse for not looking at the camera?
I have been working on my new blog for a couple of months now - check it out http://www.melbourneplaces.com/. It is about my adopted city - I love Melbourne and I love exploring it and sharing its secrets.
This blog is in recognition of my love and my gratitude for the Dogs of Melbourne.
Melbourne is the right city for a dog-fix.
I arrived mourning Goldie. I needed the many and varied dogs who live and move around the city to help my grieving process.
I still need that dog-fix.
Get your dog-fix here, entertain yourself or just get a taste of Melbourne's canine population.

Your photos are so nice.
what a fun day for the dogs. I love the little jackets some of them are wearing.
It's great that they don't have to miss out..that pram looks pretty comfortable! :O)
I went to this for the first time and loved it! Lucy was a little overwhelmed at first, and exhausted by the time we got home lol
I did see quite a few interesting ways people were getting their dogs around too, including some in the pictures you took.
I'm glad you enjoyed it Claire. I think it's a great day out. I'm sure a lot of dogs were as exhausted as your Lucy. It's a long way around the lake.
