Irish Wolfhounds at Queenscliff

I have had ANZAC Day in Queenscliff. It was a quiet day there but there were some dogs out and about. Queenscliff is a place of large dogs. These two Irish Wolfhounds were the largest we saw and they were very striking as they waited outside one of the shop .Irish Wolfhounds are said to be sweet-tempered, patient, generous, thoughtful and very intelligent. They can be trusted with children. I often wonder if these large dogs realise that they miss all that cuddling that smaller varieties get.

My friend took her dog Maddy who had had her ears operated on and wore a ‘bucket’on her head. She is very camera shy and always turns away when she sees one. We have a lot of photos of her back view.

Nice photos.
Yes I think they miss their friend Gucci when she is away.
She will be back on Mondag with her little puppy.
